Do you feel so fat and plump? Whom can you see when you look into the mirror? Do you like whom you come across in the looking glass every day? I mean, are you satisfied with your weight? I know how horrible it feels like to see extra amount of weight and hate yourself! I was one of them! I have tried some hundreds of diets up to now. It started from the school times. My classmates were tall and handsome or thin, while I was fat and short!
I had always redone my clothes as we couldn`t find the right size or model. I had to wear longer clothes to hide my extra kilograms. I can also remember that I underwent hunger some days one after another. However, despite or against my expectations, the results couldn`t please me! After hunger for a while, there appeared a burning desire to eat inside of me and I couldn`t help eating and eating!
There always exist advantages and disadvantages in every kind of diets, physical exercises. If you can combine and follow them every time throughout your life you`ll keep fit! I`m going to share my own technique to lose weight or get slim and always feel more attractive with all of you, my dear reader!
The tips I`m going to explain here may help you any time in anything you wish! First, you should accept the truth that getting fat is a feeling and thought. If you don`t agree with me look around and observe people! I`m sure you have come across such people who aren`t attractive or handsome. However, their behavior and manner charm and attract you more than the fashion model from the magazine. Why? They aren`t beautiful actually! Pay attention to our parents! Most of them have large bellies, or wrinkled skin after fifty. Can you dare to call them “ugly”? I can`t and don`t and wouldn`t. They are the most attractive and best people in my life ever and they will remain so!
In this way, let`s start Tip #1: Love yourself! I`m sure you have your own opinion on it. However, it may avail you if you consider my advice too. You may love yourself for your ability to behave in difficult situations, for your good mood or nature, etc. As we are talking about getting slim, we will look through the concept from this point of view. Stand before the looking glass! Whom do you see? Is it a fat big ugly woman or man? Maybe, it`s a plump, but self-confident caring loyal person with the charming smile no one has! Stop criticizing yourself or your appearance! Watch! There may live some people who lack a leg, or an arm or ill with incurable disease near you! Would you think of losing weight in their places?
Even if so, everyone has the right to live his or her life the way they want! If you are still seeing your extra weight on the screen of your imagination, it means that you should learn to love yourself! When you love someone, you won`t think that he or she is so fat or ugly, if you really love! You will admire him or her despite their fatness or other nuances. So, love yourself unconditionally! Right now, take a sheet of paper or come closer up to the mirror and think! What is your best sides? Are you honest? Does smile make you attractive? Are you in a good mood? Are your eyes beautiful? Your nose? The shape of your face? Write and keep in your mind just only the best the most attractive lines of your appearance and always remember them.
I`m going to describe the universal law of life. Are you ready? Like any other kinds of laws, or rules it may harm or help you depending on how and on what purpose you apply it. Here it is: “What you draw in your mind you`ll get in reality!” Your words, your voice, your behavior, your glance, etc. always tell what kind of a woman or a man you are! What will the-people-around-you think of you if you always keep feeling shy, nervous or trembling uncertain what to do, or say? Of course, you have chance to ignore others` thoughts about you any time. However, if you want everyone to love, respect, appreciate you you`ll have to care about their opinions.
So, we have finished the theoretical part of the life lesson named “Become a woman”. You may ask me what all of the abovementioned psychological stuff has to do with losing weight. I`ll reply. Science has already proved that any of the illnesses must be cured from inside: in mind first! Meaning, if you are unwilling or uncertain, not sure to overcome the disease, or recover, you will have to spend some years before healing. Besides, you must have heard about the patients who were able to survive and recover from cancer! How? The reason isn`t in the medicine, it`s in the person`s mind if he is thinking of recovering or has already given up!
When you are getting nervous, angry because of your overweight or dwell on why you can`t lose weight while others look fantastic. However, the reality is that all of them is your illusion. You think that you are fat and ugly, and no one loves you! What will you get in reply to your thoughts? According to the Law of Attraction, you will get the consequent results. The flower doesn`t have legs, arms head like you, but it is the most beautiful anyway. You mustn`t resemble Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt to look at least satisfied with your weight! I saw a film some years ago. A stout fat woman about thirty was told that she was going to die from cancer soon. She was a common worker and it was a great shock for her.
What did she do? She cried a little, then decided to live her last moments of life with meaning! With all of her collected money, our Heroine came to the most expensive room of the most expensive hotel in the biggest city. When she visited the boutique near, the consultant couldn`t believe that this woman might have a taste at all!
However, the fate tells the last words every time and everywhere. When I saw her in a shining black dress with little stones, I understood beauty is not in the weight or silhouette it is in your opinion about it. If you consider yourself beautiful and fit, everyone will see you with your eyes as in the film I`ve just told you. Life isn`t a film, but a film can`t impress if it is not real, or has no true emotions and teachings. We are different! We look different! What would be if all of us were Audrey Hepburn? Leonardo DiCaprio? I will tell you that you wouldn`t live such a life due to its monotony and die from bore!
If you are still thinking that you should lose some kilos, let`s take a step forward! My method, which I have been using up to now and satisfies me, consists of a few steps. First, we will have to look through the reasons of overweight!
1. Overeating.
2. Health problems.
3. Nervousness.
4. Lack of care of your weight, etc.
You may solve them one by one, but it can`t bring you any results if you have no clear goal about your appearance. You must know whom you want to see in the mirror every day. How many kilograms are you going to lose? How would you look so that you will be satisfied with your image? Draw an exact picture of yourself in future with a perfect shape of body and appearance.
I chose a photograph of a pretty-tall slim girl and hung it on the wall of my room so that it will remember my aim. When you have defined your goal, you may deal with the abovementioned problems easily. What you should do is to concentrate your attention on your result that you get at the end of the course.
Actually, my method is to be used all your life. To stop it mat counteract your health. However, it won`t only keep you fit, but also you`ll acquire peace of mind what is necessary I your daily life. That`s all! I won`t bother you with theory, and we will turn to the practice! Meditation helps you to tranquilize and stop worrying, negatively thinking, etc. For instance, I set some minutes for meditation every day. It doesn`t take you much time at all. Concentrating your attention on breathing you`ll learn to keep positive thoughts in your mind.
When I used a photo of a beautiful girl, I imagined that I was that girl and acted. This process may illustrate visualization clearly. You may get my books on Visualization and apply the techniques described in them. Once I was watching TV when a diet program reporter shared astounding news. According to her words, our eyes couldn`t measure if we take more or less to eat. It may cause to overeat. So, she suggested using a special dish to eat. I have a small plate. The plate tells me if I have had enough amount of food.
In one word, to control your weight you should know how much and when to eat! I have just remembered an old proverb that says that breakfast is for yourself, lunch is for your friend and you, and dinner is for your enemy. I think it explains everything. When I realize its meaning and the reason, I began to follow it. Now I can have anything I want in the morning, have a snack in the afternoon, and try some salads, fruits in the evening. I would suggest you making up your own menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and alter it time by time.
