How to write bestsellers? How to advertise them so that everyone will be aware of your new works? Do you know to promote them? If don`t, you can use my tips here! They will help you to attract more readers` attention to your books and make them bestsellers!

 

The Social Nets

 

Can you imagine one day of your life without face book or twitter? Why? What attracts you much? Girls? Boys? It`s obvious. However, you may turn this net into the source of your advertising campaign if try! Do you know about it? Perhaps, you have already tried this way! Anyway, there are some tips to promote your books, or other types of services on the Social Nets to share with you.

 

It`s less expected, but if you still have no account, just create one. I must say that one of the multi-functional net is Face book. You can share your published books, ad and sell them here. Face book offers you both paid and free types of advertisements. As a beginner, don`t risk using the paid services when you have free tools.

 

First, you should create your own page and group to promote your books. Second, you can find the groups, where you can leave the links and retell about your works. You must understand that you should choose suitable groups. If you are a writer, then you can become a member of writers` groups, every one related to writing and books.

 

Authors` Platforms

 

You won`t have to wait for the strict and loving-to-criticize publishers as Charles Dickens once! Because, you have a chance to share your works on the platforms like Amazon.com, Smashwords.com, Barns and Noble, and a lot of others. If you want, you may let everyone read your books free-of-charge, or sell them.

 

What about Charles Dickens, he would cry “EVRIKA!” and would write some millions of books and become the famous writer all over the world in a short period of time due to the magic of the Internet. What about you? Do you know that you have such a chance that even Charles Dickens didn`t have once?

 

Then, take your pen in your hand and write, write and write again! When you feel that your work is ready enough to share with your readers, publish them on Amamzon.com, or any other platform free-of-charge! You may also earn some balance selling your books there.

 

However, you will have to promote your works yourself or use the paid services of ads offered right on the platforms. Don`t wait for great income advertising your books only once a month or a year! The point here is that if your readers don`t see and don`t know about your book, nobody will buy them.

 

Imagine that when you post your ad there were some ten people on the platform. One of them buys your book! You think that now everyone will start to buy and… Unfortunately, not! It is the same to believe in winning in the lottery! So, you will have to search for and find newer and newer ways of promotion.

 

Writers` Forums

 

All of the abovementioned sites have numerous of functions and options for us, authors! I highly advise you to join Writers` Forums on each site. When I started using the forums, I understood that communication between authors would inspire and guide you! You will teach someone something, so does another one.

 

Free Share

 

It may seem unfair to share your books, which you wrote spending sleepless nights and days of hard work on them free of charge. However, for the new brand writer, it is the best way to show his or her talent of writing. Of course, you must have talent first! Nevertheless, remember that success depends on 99% of hard work and 1% of talent.

 

Writers` Contests

 

I must warn you as a beginner writer you have merely no chance to win the contests. However, participation in the writers` competitions will highlight both your strong and weak sides as an author and enable you to work on yourself and improve your writing skills.

 

The Magazines

 

You can also send your works to magazines all over the world. They will accept them in a definite period of time, so you have to get acquainted with the information on the deadline beforehand. Most of the magazines come out twice a month. Accordingly, you can send your books, short stories, poems, fiction non-fiction narrates once in half a year.

 

Here are some of such magazines: Adelaide Magazine, Prairie Schooner, Hudson Review, Consequence Magazine, Online Fiction, Able Muse, Salamander, Ninth Letter, Cimarron Review, The Common, The Sun Magazine, The Three-penny Review, etc.

 

The Links

 

What about the links, I suppose everything is clearer than counting from one to five here. First, you must know and copy the URL-address of your book via which we can get to your book. Now, you have to place it on social nets, writers` forums (if eligible). Try to leave the links when the meaning of your book has something in common with the information or the site you are leaving the link. Otherwise, you will have to wait too long without results. For instance, if this is a group of people talking about losing weight, you can`t offer them your book on Earning more money. They may not pay attention to the book or ignore it.
